"DUBs'" for the Cub!! AND Radials!!
All the younger folk want DUBs' on their cars.
22s' instead of 15" wheels etc... Well I got a set of 14" DUBs' for the Cub!! http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...007640x582.jpg The rims were offset so I started to make a set of wheel spacers. Here they are compared to the 23x8.50x12 tires http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...014640x426.jpg Its cold so I thought, what if I reverse the center cap and just bolt them on backwards?? http://i1104.photobucket.com/albums/...016640x423.jpg The new tires are 26 x 9.00 x R14. Gotta keep up with the latest style!! Oh yea, I set the pressure at 2 psi, the tractor can now put a load on the 10 hp at half throttle in first gear!! That never happened before! The previous tires would spin before there was any indication the engine had a load. :biggrin2: They got a BIG footprint!! |
Nice lol nothing wrong with dubing it up but also putting the power to the ground is where it counts! Either that is really tight clearance or fender rub according to the pic?

I am the Younger Generation and dont want to offend anyone but Ugh tires like that on a lawnmower Just arent cool Next thing you know your going to hook a BOOM BOX up to it . I think maybe we should keep it a little more real Just my opinion dont me to Offend anyone

Got to love the larger wheels!!
A while back I bought two new 15" white wagon wheels/tires at TSC for my cargo trailer, I rolled them in the shed and leaned them on my sears tractor. A few days later I opened the shed door and the sun light hit the wheels and then the idea hit me, Ahh same bolt patern:bigthink: They never made it on the trailer! |
CAD, you are always coming with neat stuff! :beerchug:
|
I could take or leave the rims but the tires are nice. I am looking for a set like that for my 1572 super. The rims look better turned around backwards.
|
I think they look great! Much better turned backwards. Personally, I think they would look even more awesome if they were powdercoated CC white, with chrome lug nuts :biggrin2:
