I have a 1450 and used for the first time to do the snow on Saturday. It seemed like it idled rough and when I went to turn the idle down to low, it staled. Any suggestions? Also can anyone tell me how I can find out the year. It is serial number 2050660u645628. Thanks for the help. Chris W

Your 1450 was born January 1979.

Have you gone thru your carb with a fresh rebuild kit? Also check the points and condenser and the timing.
