Lug bolts with larger diameter heads

I recently picked up a set of 26 x 12 x 12 ag tires mounted on rims. However the rim holes are too large for the lug bolts on my cub cadet 582. Does someone make the 7/16 fine thread bolts with larger heads?

One alternative I thought of was to buy washers and weld washers into the rims to make the mounting hole smaller.

I have noticed on the web several places where car rims could be used on cub cadets. Don't car rims use a larger hole size for the lug bolt? What lug bolt would you use to mount a car rim to a cub cadet? Or do you switch to studs and lug nuts?

The 26 x 12 x 12 tires were designed for Cub SUPER garden tractors. The 582 is a regular garden tractor and the appropriate tire size for it would be the 23 x 10.50 x 12.

If you are going for "the look", then adaptation would be expected.

go to your local bolt store and get some longer bolts with regular heads on them. Then you can thread them in from the back (inerside) of the axle flange. Use lock tight on them and get them good and tight. Then you will essentially have lugs (studs) on the outer side. Then you can use regular lug nuts:beer2:.

Or just simply get the correct wheels for a CC for that size tire.

I like jbollis's idea. Just get some studs and mount them up :beerchug:

Stock can only be so fun.
