Side Covers (what do you think)
I have a warped 70-74 Pontiac Formula hood. Im thinking of cutting the scoops off and glassing them to my side covers on the 582.
I think it would be a good look  http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/a...D/100_6832.jpghttp://i846.photobucket.com/albums/a...D/100_6835.jpg |
How wide is one scoop, about 10" and about 20-24" long? If it doesn't overpower the side panels I think it would look good. BUT, what a nice hood, can the warp not be taken out with heat or another method?

the hood is all fiberglass. its bowed and twisted . it would cost more to fix then to find a good hood. I have 3 other hoods , this is the only one I have for parts.

I still think it will look pretty cool if it isn't overbearing :TwoCents: |
That makes me miss my 73 Formula so much.

That looks like it might work real nice for you.

Doug,
Thats would be neat. Or one of them right on top of the cub hood?? Regards, Chris |
I was thinking about that, putting one on the hood. but think the side air draw would look better
but they are too big for the sides. I have another idea, using the air extractors that are in the fenders. they are small and would look just as good. |
