went to my cub dealer to get the hytran fluid under this number (937-3025).
this is the number they gave me. (737-3121) its genuine cub cadet hydro fluid too. synthetic blend. hydro plus. what you guys think?

That oil is intended for the newer tractors.

You make NO mention of the model of tractor you are attempting to install the fluid in. I am "assuming" you are referencing an older IH built Cub Cadet. With that in mind, for me, I would NOT use that type of fluid.

Oh the stuff is good, for the application it was intended for.

Would Hytran be acceptable for the newer cubs. What is meant by newer. My 2084 is 19 yrs old.

The non synthetic will cost you the same.

I would take that crap back and find a new dealer. These new dealers tic me off because they don't know what they are doing. He should of asked you what you are using it in, but then again, he probably is a repair center for the big box stores and mostly works on POS throw away tractors.....okay I'm better now:biggrin2:

Yeah even as long as my dealer has been around I have to remind them almost all the time I am dealing with mowers older than 25 years old and can't use the new stuff. But they absolutely smile when I come in with my printed paper of part numbers that I need.
