Learning Electrolysis
Well....I learned something about my Electrolysis tank today. I was swapping out parts in the tank yesterday and decided to put the tie rod and drag link in, since I was planning to replace the ends anyway I decided to leave them on. Now they have a rubber boot on them that I left on to see what would happen to them. I also put the speed control assembly in with the plastic bushing still on it. I took them all out today and the metal was clean as a whistle, the rubber boots and the plastic bushing were unharmed and looked great.
Course you smart fellers probably already knew this :bigthink: but I learned something anyway! |
I'm glad you did that, as I would have wondered about rubber and plastic being damaged.
I'm glad to see your having great results with the tank. I think I am more than dead set on building one this spring. I have been considering one of those large 275 gallon plastic tanks in a metal cage for being able to do some of the larger items such as the hood, fender pan and maybe the frame. |
SD,
Thanks for trying this! I learned along with you. Regards, Chris |
