123 and 129 ?
I'm picking up these two tractors tomorrow. I need to know what i need to do to move them. I know not to drag them very far. They have been siting for a long time. I have to move them about 20 feet..Thanks for the reply.
When I get them home, I will get some pics.. |
Both of these Tractors are Hydros and should have a Hydro Release Lever similar to this....
http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...easeLeverB.jpg Placing the lever into the "Release Position" should offer you the mobility you are looking for IF the lever and all it's linkages are intact and functional. With such a short move, even if something was amiss, just exercising care, and ease should be no problem. |
If the lever does not seam to release anything (like mine) I would try to jump the battery and crank the motor a little bit, this seams to free up the hydro on mine and then I can push it.

R Bedell thank you for the fast reply and pointing this out to me.

How come the 123 is a parts tractor? Looks pretty complete to me.

I hafta agree. why yuh wantin ta part that 123???
I have two 123's that I have front blades on, one of them looks pretty nice and runs pretty good. The other looks like it's never seen the inside of a garage (Got it in Florida) and probably hasn't! It runs GREAT, feels like it has twice the power of the other one, and is the best pulling hydro that I have. Your 123 may not be the prettiest girl at the dance but you never know about her till you get her going. Once you get her fired up you may find out that she can cook, clean AND bait her own hook. |
I just noticed on your 123 that the PO did the "Infamous" tunnel cut in the frame. That's really too bad because they are getting hard to find without that cut. Good luck with both of them.
