Well the dash says 128 but it gas a 10hp in it that owner said it did run but smoked a bit. Any one know how to tell what model it is?

Looks like it was a 128. Someone along the line a 10hp was put in it.

0045 tells us it is a 128 and 501996 that it was made in Feb. 1974.

It is a regular muffler with the diagonal cut straight and an adapter to put the the normal flapper on it kinda weird looking but may be it kept some rain out of it!! Took a look over it and pretty tight steering box, crappy wore out plug wire prolly why it will not fire per the po, inside of coil looks a bit dirty but possibly salvagable if cleaned right! It turns over pretty well so starter works! Teaser spring broken,clutch shows some wear! Not flex coupling at all!! It has what i think is called a love joy connector or maybe just a coupler will have to take a closer look! Brakes dont work rotors a bit rusty. Wheels must be from something other than a cub the valve stems are on the inside and the tires say sears lol!! All are tubed and seem to still be holding air but are really needing replacements, but with the weird wheels thinking either 90 degree valve stem maybe or need different wheels! Hmm..... the funny hood spacing is just some po using the wrong hinge!! The rest of the tins are okay except the fender psn would need another! Not sure what to do with it at this point but may just try to get it fired and decide from there!

I don't think parting out some of these machines is such a bad thing. How else are the runners and resto projects going to obtain NLA parts. Good score.
