Just wondering, what you think its worth if its "running"? The plastic on top is cracked. Waiting for owner to get back to me about "running" condition. Any thoughts? Which one of you restored one of these?? Cubcrazy, Lew???

She was pretty rough when I started to Mike. It was my uncles and we used it at our cap since it was new :biggrin2:.

I would buy it for $100 at the most and if the engine is shot find a lawnboy that is running and transfer the plastic top over to the new engine. I like the odd ball IH equipment like the front tine tillers, push mowers, string trimmers, window AC units, fridges/freezers and etc. Just shows they had what you were looking for all from one place. Try finding a farm equipment dealer that can match IH today. :beerchug:

Hope you get it as it will be a reliable and working conversation piece that you dont see too many of anymore!

:Woo: Guys says he will hold it for me until I come back from vacation. So that's a plus. He says it ran two years ago when he parked it in the shed. Rip cord and handle is still good, nothing bent or broken on it he says except for the plastic top. Anyone ever weld plastic or is that a waste of time and money? Not sure how bad it is, but its worth having I am thinking.

Congrats and for $25 all you've wasted is time and gas.
