Guy's i need some advice. I just located a 682 in near perfect condition.
the only thing missing is the pulley assembly up front, ( i think it's called the mule something or other) any way the paint and tires are mint condition. He says it's a 1982 model???? My question is this. He want's $400 for the tractor. Is this a fair price?:bigthink:

I would take it. It's probably missing the mule drive which connects the deck to the tractor. The other posibility which is more unlikely is that it is missing the front engine pto pulley. I would bet it's the mule drive though which you can list a want add in the wanted section. But for $400 I say take it.

Yes sir, The mule drive for the deck is missing. the front engine pto is in place and works.. The old guy just uses it to move his boat in and out of his shed.. so he removed the mule drive to install the hitch ball to move his boats, and can't remember where he put the mule drive...lol

Buy it for that price! Mule drives are easy to get and prtty cheap too! WHen you going to go pick it up?

Man, put a wax coat on that and that will look SHARP! Thats a fair price for an 82 series. Go get it :beerchug:

That's a great deal! I'd get it!

At least you got a jump start on your addiction. Most people start with yellow and white cubs and then work their way up to the red ones. You just basically started at the end.
