IH QL Books?
 

I have a 1650 IH QL cub cadet and want to bring it into good working order. I realize this site is a great resource, there still is nothing better than a good book on a subject. I should start with a manual, I know how they can be, but would like to find a good book on my tractor or the like. Thank for any help.

Also I can't keep the tractor timing from going out of adjustment.

For your timing problems your points bracket (for lack of a better word) might be stripped out. Have you tried new points and reset them via Matt's guide or a timming light?
