Magnum 18 remote oil lines routing
 

Doing some maintenance on my 1872, the service manual states that the top oil line attaches to the A port on the filter mount. My question is does that line go to the top port on the engine block as well? Currently it is going to the bottom port on the block and am not sure that a previous owner connected it backwards. Thanks.

If you look at the M18 manual on this forum under the technical library section you will see that the top line coming from the engine goes to the B port. It also says that this line should have a white tracer in the line. The bottom line from the engine goes to the A port and should have a red tracer in it. There is a great picture showing all of this in section 7 of the M18 manual.
