blown left fuse?
 

In all the excitement of lawnmowers on my street. My neighbor across the street is 75yrs old and not tech savy. He keeps asking me to find out what is blowing his left fuse on his 782. He replaced the starter and its still blowing the left fuse. Any thoughts anyone?

The lights and PTO clutch are fused, IIRC, so that has nothing to do with the starter. Look for a short in either of those circuits.

the left fuse is the clutch, thats how it is on my 582. could be a bad wire grounding out.
