500,000 Cub
 
I've always wondered who owns the 500,000 Cub Cadet built (its a 149) anybody know who owns it or what happened to it?:bigthink:

I think it went straight to a museum or something like that if I remember right.

According the Ken Updike, the 149 was shown at multiple shows by IH. After the tour, IH placed the 149 at the Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry. After IH's sale to Tenneco in 1985, the exhibits from the museum were sent to Racine, Wisconsin. It is thought the 149 is still owned by The Case New Holland Corporation in Racine, Wisconsin. (taken from Ken's book, Farmall Cub and Cub Cadet). I think the only thing special about it was hubcaps. IH didn't go hog wild like they did with the 5,000,000 tractor built, the chromed out 1066.
