Friday Save
 

On Friday, after billh1963 picked my grandpa's old 149 he bought from me I headed out to look at another 149 that brucer95 had told me about. The 149 was already loaded on a trailer and in the next couple of hours would have been at the scrap yard. He was only waiting for his son-inlaw to get off work to take it to the scrap yard for him. The PO even let me use his trailer to haul it home. After talking to the old boy I bought it from ,he said he used to help build cub cadets in Louisville back in the 60s. I think he was kind of glad I came along to save her. It dosn't run yet, but it will be before long.

Great save on a cub that has some pretty good bones to her! You have an interesting nose for 149's......wish that I could find them that fast!

Yeah, good save on that 149. I really don't understand why guys haul these things to the scrap yard when they could sell them whole or part them out. Its doing the right thing as a guy!

Nice save for sure. I wish there was some way to get the word out to everybody that we will take these tractor they are scrapping. I keep telling everybody but seems like they still haul them off.
