tires, will they fit
I saw an add for some tires and wheels off a JD that are 23x10.50x12 rear, and 16x7.50x8, front tires and tubes only. It dosn't say what type of tread. Not quite sure what those #'s mean. The manual for my 1450 says it came with 23x8.50x12 rear and 16x6.50x8 front. I'm thinking they should fit but want to make sure be fore looking at them. I could use front tires. If someone could let me know asap. please

I believe 14hp and up machines came with 23X10.50X12 and 16X6.50X8. I think the JD rear rims will fit your 1450 but the value stem will be on the inside. On the front rims your looking at make sure the spindle size and depth will fit.

Fronts are not different enough to matter, the rears will need wider rims.

Matt, the rears are mounted on JD rims, unless you mean the tires won't fit the rims that came with the 1450. The front tires are just the tires and tubes, no wheels. They are carlisle turf tires, he says about 70% tread with more wear on the outside of the front tires. He wants $45.00 for all. What do you guys think?

The JD rears wheels might work if you turn them around. The tires won't work right on rims meant for 8.5" tires. $45 isn't bad...you can't buy one new rear tire for that, generally. I hope they aren't full of calcium chloride though; I have seen more JD rear wheels/tires being sold that are filled than not for some reason.
