K301 Rebuild
 

I'm in the process of rebuilding my K301 for my stock class pulling/heavy yard work tractor and I got a new standard size piston and rings for free, but my cylinder measures 3.376" and I was wondering if this is close enough to still use stock bore size?

The cylinder walls look great I can even see some cross hatches left, but I'm still going to do a light hone.

which way did you measure the bore? across the wrist pin? or on the thrust sides? did you measure the taper . if you measured if across the wrist pin you won't see much wear at all since it occurs on the thust sides of the bore. what was your out of round?
