shipping impliments
 

Anyone have much experience shipping large implements specifically a tiller? Im located in Georgia and we don't exactly have a plethora of cub parts but im not sure how to arrange shipping or what it would cost. Id also be interested in a 48" deck.

My friend Dave has had good luck shipping motorcycles and large car parts using uship.com

Basically you describe what you want shipped and from "here" to "there" and haulers bid / give prices on moving it.

Just like ebay, feedback is extremely important to watch.

When he got a mini bike delivered, this was the load. That particular guy moves a lot of tractors.

Very interesting idea, my buddy has a '11 Cummins and he said he'd go any where and get anything for me. Only downside is I have to ride to keep company and pay for fuel and food. :biggrin2: Doesn't exactly work out to be cost effective plus I hate riding... Ill check out that site thanks.

Google "LTL Shipping". LTL stands for "Less than load". In other words, less than a full semi trailer.

I have used Conway trucking in the past, It's best if you drop the item at thier terminal, and pick it up there also.

We looked into shipping the Haban deck off of the 2072 from Michigan to Virginia, it was like $350.00 just for shipping.:bigeyes::bigeyes:

My buddy Tommy sold his 982 last summer and the guy lived in CA and he used Uship and it cost the buyer $600 from NC to San Degio, CA.
