Comb tiller/Brinly moldboard ?

I would like to hook on to a brinly plow to rip ground up and then switch to my 1A tiller. I read somewhere that the gear box needs to be removed but when I mount the hitch it hits the plate the gear box is mounted on. I don't want to have to change hitches all the time. Any suggestions?

Buy another cub?

If another cub isn't an option, the next best thing is to make some extensions, like this....

This will let you run the plow with the gearbox on, you will also need a longer pin in the upper lift casting. You also may want a skid plate to avoid messing up the pulley when plowing...

xtrememotorworks.com makes an extension kit for the sleeve hitch adapter and a longer pin to compensate for the extra length
