Quietline pickup times two
11 Attachment(s)
Yesterday I picked up a Cub 1450 in Southern PA. It has a 44" deck that came with it. The PO said that he finished mowing with it about 3 years ago and it quit running and he left it sit where it died along his driveway. Missing the grill and muffler and looks rough but we will see. Worst case I will part it.
Then a friend from Baltimore went home to visit family for the holiday in upstate New York and he picked up and delivered a Cub 800 I found a few weeks back. The 800 is missing the outside air cleaner cover, coil and the left side panel. It has the aluminum exhaust plate but it is broke so I will need to TIG weld it. Has the muffler, air cleaner backing plate and the small starter. The PO took a few things apart so I will need to figure it out. I don't know much about the 800 except they made 2345 and the unique things I mentioned. Also has a nice 44" deck. I have too many projects and don't know where to start :bash2: |
Nice finds! You can never have enough projects just gotta dive in somewhere.

Congrats on the 800. Now you've got 2 selections from the low production list. Your place is turning into "That 70's Show" lol.... What ever happened with that 106 (I think) that was flooded out?

Nice scores on the QL's.

Congrats on the two quietlines!!!
Great score on the 800. Has the hard to find muffler, starter, and muffler casting. Hopefully you can find the outside of the aircleaner housing. :beerchug: Thanks for the pics! |
