& fanbelts

Saw a belt dressing at a local auto parts store. Was wondering what everyone else use's to treat their fan belts with. Or what not to use?

Read once to use good'ole wd40 & spray it once a month while spinning?

Well I didn't quite explain myself correctly, how About a plain ole belt. Like on a mower deck, snow thrower, undercarriage, etc..

I don't do jack for my belts. Never have. I keep them clean and tight but have never put anything on them, and they are fine.

Belt dressing is mostly for flat belt equipment.
Using it on "V" belts is not practical/useful.
