Hello, I'm the new guy in town
:Cub7:Hello Cub enthusiast,
My name is Big Bear, I do have a real name but I guess we all have a side handle like truckers do. Yeah, I drove over the road big rigs 18 wheelers of all kinds, operated heavy equipment, buses too. And a love for tearing things apart and hoping to put all back together with the least amount of parts left overs. I was a mechanic years ago, but seemed to have forgotten a lot over the years and need help relearning those skills again. Getting old is tough and a challenge to keeping the old brain active. I decided to build a big 12x 16 shed with the hope of fixing and repairing my own broken down stuff for fun. I currently have a cub 1862 which I bought not long ago to put in the shed. I own an old craftsman lawn tractor, a cub 129, (gutless) and a smaller cub which I forget what it is. I have a 1975 Yamaha motorcycle 650 I am trying to get parts for. I've always loved tractors, and four wheeling. Anything mechanical was in my blood. I've always been curious about how a watches works, Before the internet I knew nothing of watches, Than I checked on U-tube and dang if it didn't teach me how it all came together. imagine those old German made clocks? The old gear systems of old...The internet is a fantastic place to learn knew things, and help to restore what I lost by sitting idling by doing nothing useful.. I hope by joining up with you guys and gals on here I might learn something as well as help others if not to help myself when I fall flat on my face. Thanks for having me on your program... http://onlycubcadets.net/forum/image...s/bigthink.gif
