Home Plow opinions please

A co worker of mine has this plow for sell and I can pick it up for about $25. It is actually for a IH Farmall Cub tractor. I was thinking that if I modified it with a 3pt hitch it would make a pretty cool set up for the Supers. I've only seen the picture and will look in person this weekend. Unfortunately I have no other info on the plow. So do you guys think my idea would work? Do you think the Supers will lift it and pull it? Thoughts,Ideas and Opinions Please.

If a Super would pull it, there would be pics all over the internet!!

The dream setup is to pull multi plows.

The Super will do fine with one, the large one may be a 12 inch, which would be perfect for a Super!! :bigthink:

I have used this minimally behind the 1872, I would not consider having a second bottom.

Cut off the big one for your CAT 0, give the little one to Methos for his 1864!!

Looks like the larger one is 16" and I think it would go too deep for a cub to handle.:TwoCents:

I'm good on a plows thanks for the thought tho!:beer2:

I agree with Duke....That would be a little too much for an SGT, or GT..If not to much to pull, to heavy.

I have the exact plow for my Cub...They are actually suppose to be blue. :beerchug:

The large share measures 19" and the small 11". I didn't think the
Farmall cubs had that much horse power

I think that model of plow is a 14"...But it might be a 16". :bigthink:

And they don't....But they have a lot of weight, and torque. :beerchug:

I didnt measure it the guy who has it did. I figured weight would be an issue. But i thought the diesel could handle the torque. $25 will buy it if I decide its usable in any way

I would pay that and use it for a mail box support if I could not pull it!! :bigthink:

Cub Cadet Yellow, of course!! :biggrin2:

Could he unbolt the smaller plow section and maybe modify it to use? Just a thought.. Brian:beerchug:
