So I have decided to buy a machine from a fellow member. Before I decided I talked to the wife and she said "ok, but no house money goes toward it", me "no problem, I'll sell the husky as I don't need two grass slingers anyway". So we are sitting here yesterday and I get a call on on the husky, when I am done my son says " you're selling your mower?" Me "yes so I can buy another cub", son "sweet can I drive it?" wife "you are selling a perfectly good mower just to buy one that's yellow????" "You can buy some d*** paint and paint it yellow!" Me "it's not the same babe, this machine will outlive me"
her "it's JUST a hobby, an expensive one at that".............where did I go wrong with her last statement I just showed her the pics and went outside..buyer for the husky should be here Monday and I'm going to get the cub...:popcorn:

Lol you shoulda played like I did when sold my huskvarna to pay for cubs and fuss afew weeks before asking to sell it lol! Course my husky was crap! Oh wait that might make me wait huh.....lol good luck man!

Sell the Husky, get the Cub and tell her you bought some d---d yellow paint and painted the Husky and hope she doesn't notice. :biggrin2:

Me too Allen! My wife is really cool about me buying and selling. She likes it when I make a good sell to buy something else I want. Of course sharing my profit sometimes helps too. LOL She really loves the red tractors. Earlj maybe that is your solution buy !%%@!$! red paint and paint them all red! Just kidding you. I feel your pain I used to have that problem but now I have an ex wife.

LOL Earlj that might work. Try my trick slip her some cash on your profit then she will be more and glad to let you trade around.

Try hiding it in the garage for a month or two. When she does see it you can say. "that old thing, I've had that." Just like when they wear a dress or shoes you hadn't seen.
Maybe you can let a friend buy it and give it to you. wink. wink. Just some ideas,
I'd never do any of them tricks. But if somebody needs me to help in the St.Louis area just let me know.

You need to check Craigies List pretty close on you way home so that you can pick up a parts tractor too................LMAO

Be tough man.......don't let her beat you down.......at least she is not calling for an intervention and the guys in green and yellow show up to take you away to help with your addiction.
