2165 deck lift assist?
 

Does anyone here have a picture of how the deck lift assist on a 2165 is supposed to hook up? The way the previous owner had it just does'nt look right.

From what I can find out, the PO had it hooked up correctly. It just looks kinda funky hooked under the frame. Kinda like the engineers had to add something at the last minute before production and that was the best they could come up with on short notice.

Are you talking about the 2 springs that hang off the frame and attach to the rear of the deck? If so, yep it's kind of a barn yard set up but it sort of works.:beatdeadhorse:
