Only Cub Cadets - New fron Indiana

I am new to this site but I have had my Cub Cadet 107 for about 9 years now. It usually runs great, when it wants to. I bought it from my dads friend that had two tractors and mowed 6 achers. So this old girl has had some use on it. It seems like every year something goes wrong on it and the parts are hard to find or stupid expensive for new ones. Ebay helped me out last year with a steering grear box when mine fell apart and the casting wouldnt hold berings anymore. I have had an ongoing problem with the genorator not charging but I cant seem to bite the bullett for a reman one and with a new one of those who knows if the voltage regulator is any good. S i just charge it before I mow and dont shut it off unless I an near the garage. I guess it is all part of owning a 40 year old tractor
