"Tread" dimension?
 

Hi!
I am new to the group and was browsing some old Cub Spec Sheets.

Some of them cite a "tread" dimension in inches. They also had wheel base.
For example, a 1405 has a tread of 38". and a wheelbase of 45".
A 1325 showed a tread of 33". and a wheelbase of 45".

Same wheelbase but a different tread.

My question is what exactly is the "tread" spec that is called out?

This is a shot in the dark but maybe from outside edge to outside edge of the rear tires but I really don't know I could go measure my 102 or 1000 to see if its anything close to that
