Mule Drive belt rubbing on 50A deck.
7 Attachment(s)
I noticed that the mule drive belt is lightly rubbing one of the clevices(?) on the deck. It seems like the deck is not centered on the tractor. Hopefully these pics help. It was hard to get a clear shot of the issue. One side of the mule drive has been bolted to the frame, and the other side has not. Is this part of the issue? I was hoping to get a speed up pulley that is smaller. Maybe that will add a little clearance here since the pulley will be smaller?
Thanks for any help. Hopefully these pics give enough of a idea what is going on. Thanks, Mike |
If there isn't a need for that bolt, I'd remove it. That should straighten it out some. And check the pulleys in front, make sure they are spaced correctly on the mule drive. Just my .02.

On a 50C the center pulley is offset to the right if your looking at the tractor from the front the belt on the left side should be to the right of the front hanger and the belt to the right should also be to the right of the right hand hanger. You have to put the belt on before you hang the deck. |

Matt looking at his pic I think the belt is on the wrong side of the hanger, am I wrong? I'd like to see a pic straight on from the front center. :bigthink:

I will try to take a more straight on pic this weekend when I get it out to mow. I'll take some other shots of the deck as well.
Thanks for the help, Mike |
Sorry for the delay. I will try to get these pics up soon. Still have to take them.
