Danco Loader Question

Hello All,
I'm new here so be please be patient.

I'm fixing up a Cub Cadet 147 that I just acquired. It came with a Danco Loader, model RD-2147. Based on that number I'm guessing it was original equipment sold thru IH back in the day. I have found zero info on this model but I did find the manual for the RD-2000 which looks the same except for the way the pump is mounted, and the fact that mine does not have, or is missing a filter. Which brings me to my question...

Can anyone tell me the correct type of filter assembly and/or spin on cartridge and for this loader?

McMaster Carr has a lot options and i'm not sure what to choose. http://www.mcmaster.com/#hydraulic-filters/=ipvsck

The manual says the loader runs at 1000psi, but I'm thinking its far less at the return where the filter belongs. Micron Level? GPM? Bypass Pressure?

Thanks in advance for any help and sorry to be so long winded.

Rick

Rick :Welcome2:

Your correct on your Danco info.:beerchug:

For filter you could use one of these two without any problems. Both are 10 micron and handle a max of 15 gpm. Your pump should be in the 4 gpm range.

Sorry Cubcrazy
Happy to oblige!

It seems a Cub Cadet 147 is a very rare bird here on the left coast. It needs some TLC but came with a Danco loader and several other attachments. In terms of support from local resources & other enthusiasts...well lets just say its pretty lonely around here. I look forward to interacting with you all as I bring this tired little tractor back to life. I also hope you guys will cut me some slack as I've never owned a tractor or even been to a farm, but I have seen pictures of them on TV. Just today I learned that PTO can mean something other Paid Time Off.

Thank You Duke!

Great! Thanks for your response, but I did not catch the MMC model number... if its not too much trouble. I like those guys and orders sent to them in the morning arrive the SAME DAY. Their shipping department must be magic!

The pics are above.

Wow, that is a really nice loader and box. I wish i had an older model cub that could carry something like that.
