Spindle Question
I have a Cub model 127 with a 42" deck and restoring, took apart spindles and cleaned off rust and put back together CORRECTLY. When I put back on deck and put the pulley on and fasten it down with lube fitting and proper washers the pulley seems to grind against the spindle housing when turned(metal on metal), which DOES NOT seem right to me. Is there supposed to be a spacer between spindle housing and pulley to create a slight bit of space between the two. Thanks.

Thank You for the EXTREME CLEAR picture that's been eluding me. I found out there is a couple of SHIMS that go on top of the Spindle housing that go onto the shaft of the spindle assembly that protrudes through the spindle housing to keep the pulley slightly above the spindle housing. Thank You.
