PTO Question

What speed does the PTO turn at?
Is it a set standard, or does each model have its own? Or is it directly linked to the engine?

Directly linked to the engine, which should be turning 3600 RPM's at wide open throttle.

I'm not sure how, but my 1772 PTO turns 2,000RPM, it takes a special tiller.
I think most are rated for 540RPM.

That's a rear pto and not one that turns off the crank shaft. Pucknut was asking about the front pto.:beerchug:
