Thanks, This will be my first CC resto so ill take all the advice i can get, Like the 6 bolts that hold the transmission in stripping in the case. i want to remove it for paint but im alos kind of fearful from some of the stuff ive read, any recomendations?

Taking it apart is the easy part.lt is the cleaning,sanding,priming,and painting thingy that takes longer.

Got a few parts cleaned up and a little paint sprayed because i couldnt help to see some yellow go on some parts. The misses decided she wants to help on this one to learn for when she gets her own, but i think we need to start with safety haha note the lack of shoes in the pic.
