figured out why my k181 smokes
 

Decided to pull the head on my wheelhorse this morning and found this along with really white buildup so I'm guessin this thing ran lean for a long time. Funny thing cylinder bore seems perfect imma slap it back together now and start pokin around for a new one if I don't find one by mowing season imma just rebuild it. 10 over and call it good. Mice out within specs by some mirical so imma take it out to just true it up and let it live for another 40 year's or so that is one of the head bolt washers that just barely fits in so it showed up a bit better. It runs probably better then my 782 so imma run it till snow.season is over if it blows it blows just letting people see what happens when a engine is ran lean for to long
