QA-42 Snowblower

I have a Cub 127 with Electric Lift and have a QA42 snowblower attachment and have a problem with hooking up LIFT ROD to lift assembly which has a THREADED hole only in bracket assembly which lift rod does not fit. Is there a way to do this or is it not recommended that this HEAVY QA42 is not meant to be hooked up to an electric lift assembly?

How about some pictures...??

The Electric Lift has the capacity to lift 600 lbs. That is more than enough to lift a snowthrower.

In place of the lift rod, I have used steel braided cable and some U bolts that you can pick up from any local hardware store for less than $4.

I have other parts that come with this machine. Found an adapter with two holes, one with bolt to thread in hole in lift assembly and other for lift rod. Seems to work just fine. I got camera for gift and will INCLUDE PICTURES from now on! Thanks to all for responses!
