Anyone ever run across a Daihatsu Diesel?
 

Apparently B&S rebrands them (DM950DT is the model, there's a few variants of it); I found one with a thrown rod/spun bearing for essentially free. It's a little big on the hp scale but I was intrigued at it's relatively small footprint (16.7"x16.15"x20.18"). Was thinking about grabbing it just to have it, but was wondering if anyone has come across these (I can't find a rebuild kit or any parts really after doing some searches, would prob have to go direct to dealers/B&S) and since it's already not running just trying to figure out if it's worth the trip to grab it or not.

Have a look at Toyota because Diahatsu was a cheaper subsidiary
