Will a Haban 42 work on a 1450?
 

I found a nice Haban blower, its tag says 193-353-100. It really says 193-353-100, not 190-353-100 which I find in Cub Cadet parts. I have a QA42A already but the Haban is in really nice condition and it looks very similar to the QA42A mounts and it is single stage. I tried to find some info on Haban attachments but did not find my answers. My tractor is a 1450.

I just did exactly what you are wanting to do. My H42 came with a single v pulley that was for a 5/8 belt off a 682, but the 1450 uses a 1/2 belt. I first tried a 1/2" single pulley, but it was 2-3" to far forward to line up with the PTO. That was over a year ago and I had given up. This fall I saw another h42 for sale, but this one had a 3 v pulley on it. I decided go give it a try, I used a 6209K137 pulley and 6086K214 hub from McMaster Carr. I used a 28" belt and it fits perfect, I am still waiting for snow to try it out on but that's another story. Sorry for the long post, but when I had the same question no one knew the answer. Did you also have the same attachment number as the blower I found? I actually found two of these blowers now and I am going to get one of them and try you rig if mine does not fit right off. Thanks
