Search Improvements
I think most people know that three letter words do not work in the seach box. I understand that this setting is there to prevent the server from being overloaded because three letter and shorter search terms use a lot of resources.
I know that you can go to google and type "site:onlycubcadets.net" but I have a more elegant solution: Google Custom Search. http://support.google.com/customsear...7070&ctx=topic It allows you to quickly create an HTML code snippet that can be added to any web page to produce a google search box that will only search specified web sites, so in effect you would get the same results as with the search term "site:onlycubcadets.net" but it would be more user-friendly especially for people new to the site or people who don't like to do unnecessary clicking. Here is a test search box that I made that only searches Onlycubcadets.net: http://dreaming.dyndns.org/onlycubcadets.html |
I vote to add it to the site. I have always used google to search this site but it would be nice to have it at hand.
