Rock shaft roll pins
Need advice on removing a busted roll pin from rock shaft at the lift arm. Any advice? I am new to cubs and this is my first problem, does this happen often?I had the plow locked down - oops! I have an IH dealer close by, I hope they have them, if not where do I get one?
Sure do love my 149! |
partstree .com you get the size that you need

Or go to the IH dealer and tell him you want a COILED pin, not a ROLL pin.
JD dealers have them also if you have one near. they are much stronger/forgiving than a roll pin |
In order to remove the broken pin you need to be able to put a punch on it and then be able to hit it with a hammer. If it does not move hit it harder and then if it still does not move get a bigger hammer. Once it starts to move it should tap out fairly easy. Tap the new one in with a hammer.
