Mule Drive
I am looking at a mowing deck from a member and it from a newer Super, a 1782 I think. Will a mule drive from a 1782 fit a 1572 with no mods? Thanks for the advice.

Should fit with no issues. If it is a 60" Haban the newer one does not use the two plates that bolt to the frame under the rear fenders to keep the deck centered.

Thanks, Mr. Mac. yes it is the 60" Haban. It come with a mule drive so I should have everything I need. I have wanted a 60" Haban for a long time. I am going to get it tomorrow. Thanks again.

Turns out the deck is not the new style, it is the correct deck for my model year., which is even better.

I got it. I think, I have all the parts to put it on, but I have no experience with these decks, but I will in a few weeks :biggrin2: I also purchased a 50" deck, that is in pretty good shape. I also got to meet a OCC member which is always good.
My wife was with me and after we loaded up the 60", she said, "so what is taking so long". Then I told her about the other deck. She did not say anything else, we have been married for 22 years so she understands the Cub Cadet thing. What is also funny, after we we picked up the decks in Nashville, we went to a youth convention in Pigeon Forge and my pastor seen the "scrap metal" in my truck. He said we had one of those (60") on old mower. He told me another member had it and would probably want to get rid of it. So I think it is a Super, I will find out this Wednesday. My wife said "you are going to try and get it aren't you". She never looked at me when she said it and I just said yep you know I. She said indeed. You had to be there it was funny. It was a good weekend. |
Glad you had a good weekend!

It was a, get ready for this... a 1772. He wants a smaller mower so we are going to some trading and I will pay some to boot. It has the issue with the rear and a bolt stripped is all that is wrong. It also has the 60" Haban.
