122 vs 126 - Differences???

I've a 126 and have found a 122 that might make a good engine donor. Question is - which is the better tractor? Will the 122 engine fit the 126? Are attachments, ie deck or blade, etc interchange? Both are narrow frame tractors.

Thanks!
Bill

(A) Yes the engine will fit
(B) Attachments are totally interchangeable
(C) Better...??....your preference. The 126 is a newer generation.

Does the 122 have the quick attach system? Also for some reason I'm thinking the 122 has internal breaks and the 126 external brakes. Just curious about why the change.

Thanks!

As far as front attachments, the 122 would be "bolt on" while the 126 would be "quick attach".
