k301aqs in my 129?
 

found a cheap k301 that the guy said is out of a 1250 so it should be a k301 aqs. if you strip the tin off and take the starter off. could you use the block and put the tin off the normal k301 and put a starter generator and muffler on it to put in my 129?

The bearing plate and flywheel are bigger on a K301 aqs than the K301 in your 129. I've never tried it but the shroud from a K321 may fit. The exhaust also comes out at a different angle so modifications will have to be made for a muffler.

If you want to go through the trouble you could use all the parts from the bearing plate out, off of your K301.

I can't remember for sure but the pto end of the crank may also be a different length.

so not a good idea to get a AQS?
