Got a grader blade

Not sure really what I will use this for in the short term future but you never know. Picked it up for $75.

If i ever hook up a winch to the front blade maybe ill use this in the winter to do the sidewalks/tight areas that are easier to drag out than push into.

Also could use it for leveling the garden although I could do that with a rake in about 2 hours so I am just making excuses for having it. I have also thought about unbolting the blade and bolting on a piece of angle iron and welding some dethatcher tines on it to use as a dethatcher in the yard.

I picked up the same blade a couple years ago for $50. It was brand new in an unopened box. I added a replaceable cutting edge with the same bolt pattern as the 42" front blade.
It is handy. With the hydro lift on my 149, i have had pretty good results clearing light brush and weeds and leveling an area near my lawn. Being able to angle it from the seat is nice and with it turned 180 degrees you can push with it too. You'll just have a sore neck after a while.

my dad has a cat 0 one that he used to use in combo with the front snowblower on his JD 400. I know all about the sore neck.

You got a hell of a deal.

:High5: Nice blade I've had one for years mine has removable sides that when installed make a box blade great for leveling dirt, rocks etc I'm sure you'll find plenty of excuses um I mean reasons to play with it.
