Thanks for the pics, but you should do something about that seat. It drops the value of your Cub significantly.

In the upper right of this pic, the compost on the grass is along the existing asparagus patch, so, we should be "in the spears" soon, from that 20 (?) year old planting.

I like this perennial gardening!! :bigthink:

We also planted 20-30 berry bushes (blackberry etc...) last fall, they are starting to "leaf out".

Looks like u r having a good time. Im an hour north of philly and im starting to worry about my asparagus, no sign of life yet. My small stand is a few years old and has done well in the past, maybe it has just been to cold yet.I did not mulch it in the fall but this winter the frost did not get more than an inch or two. I wonder if anyone else in pa could report on there progress ? Thanks. Dave
