Rotor Bearings for QA36 Snow Blower

I started out to adjust the chain tension on my QA36 and wound up involved in an overhaul (rebuild). The bearings on the ends of the rotor are noisy and rough and I see no provision to grease them. Does anyone know where to get replacements? The housing looks like two halves rivited together. If these two halves are separated is the bearing a stock item? Any help would be appreciated.

Here they are. I was going to replace mine but could not get the dang collars loose. But mine are still tight and smooth.

This is where I get all my bearings. You just have to measure inside and outside diamenters. Great price and fast shipping.

Might want to check your bearing in your gearbox too. I'm completely rebuilding my QA36 snow thrower. My auger bearing were good but the inner bearings in the 90 degree gearbox were shot. I'm glad I tore it completely down. I'm not sure they would have lasted if we get a lot of snow this winter.

I replaced the 4 bearings and two seals in my gear box also. They seemed fine but it is a new to me thrower and I re pullyed down to a smaller drive for a faster rotation. Cheap insurance at least the gear box is solid i hope.

Have you used your snow thrower before you changed out to the smaller pulley? I was wondering how that smaller pulley works out for you.

No I have not. But I had to replace the stock pulley and figured while I was at it I may as well buy the smaller version that I read about.

I tore down my 3 bolt gear box because the out shaft was floppy and beat up. It was vibrating my U joint apart. The box had a grease fitting so I put grease in it but in doing a little more research duh I'm assuming I have a CW-36 and It should take SAE-140 Trans oil. I need a new output shaft and outer bearing but not sure what to order. Any help I can get I'll take it
