sweet corn
2 Attachment(s)
Well after all the rain here in sw mo this spring I finally got the sweet corn planted today. It seems everything was working against us this year. we usually plant with a 2 row I H planter- like in the pic- pulled with our M farmall but a tooth broke off of one of the bull gears in the rearend and broke a hole in the rearend case:bash2:. my old planter isnt as pretty as this one but works great:biggrin2:
so today I hooked the 1811 up to the planter and got the job done after a friend came by and disced the garden for us. now i am working on a David Bradley planter like this one to plant beans and peas with. after searching for a while i found the setup manual for diff seeds and which plate to use.:beerchug: |
Cool pics! I would have loved to see a pic of your planter hooked to your 1811. :beerchug:

You can send some corn over here, & maybe i'll teach my wife how to make corn fritters or some thing else . Cool seeders, can we get a video of them in action, Fisher would love it , & probably a lot of other kids, big & small.
