5/8ths split collar
 

How many of you are using the 5/8th split collar to hold your clutch compression spring in place.How well do these work i'm in the process of doing this and the new mwsc drive shaft doesn't come with the hole to hold the spring.All they say is use the split collar to put behind the spring how well do these hold thanks.

for a puller you don't want the center hole. just another place to break. /The majority of NQS pullers use split collar's . I use one on mine but my center support butts up against it as double insurance. on stockers using a red spring I only put one on,
