The question I have is, do you have to have the springs and retainers removed to set the valve lash on a k301? Or just have the lifters set on the base circle of the lobe to check? Thanks for any help! :Help:

put the engine at TDC then set valve clearance

Make sure it's not sitting on the compression release....... (It's on the exhaust valve.) :bigthink:
