POTW submissions needed!
 

We need new submissions for POTW! Please send nice photo from a camera (if possible), and get a closeup of your cub. For the best results, use a flash, even during the daylight. Better pictures can be taken when it is slightly overcast with little or no direct sunlight.

Recently, we have had a bunch of "snapshots" where no care was taken about showing the cubs to their best. In fact, some were less than acceptable. While I like cubs in their "working clothes", it will be nice to see some "beauty shots" of restored cubs with backgrounds that don't detract from your hard work. Also, get down low when you take a pic of your cub.

POTW is not going to pick a photo if it is not up to par. Please send a photo that is nice AND interesting. Lets make POTW a place where great pics of great cubs are shown every week, not where poorly composed, less-than-average pics are shown. To be picked as a POTW, you should have an outstanding pic of your cub.

In order for a pic to be considered for POTW, it MUST be sent to me. It has to be submitted thru my gmail address. Please write a little description of your cub, including some history if you would like. Make sure you send your real name and OCC username, as well as the location of your cub.

I've submitted at least two shots to my knowledge that IMO were taken well and were large enough that they would make good resolution shots smaller...and never once have I seen it on POTW....and there are requests for more.

Wish I had a nice looking cub...... the "nice" one I've got has a blown motor :angry:

I enjoy seeing pics of cubs in their work clothes, just as much as painted ones.

I am now receiving some nice pics for POTW. Keep them coming. I now have enough for a month or two. I have some beauty shots as well as some nice pics of cubs in their working clothes. A big Thank You! for everyone that has participated so far!

Since I get more submissions than available spaces for POTW, the best pics will go to POTW. I am sorry that some nice pics might not make it. POTW is something of a competition. The best or most interesting pics win!

I also like cubs in their working clothes. If your pic doesn't make it the first time, send in another submission.

No doubt about it, I might miss a perfectly good pic, but I really try to have something interesting for the membership to view.
