Just another newbie with an 1882
 

My name is Jeremy, from PA, and I recently inherited my uncles 1882. It was unfortunately neglected. I am mechanical but not so much on tractors especially hydro stuff. I got it running well but it eats PTO belts and needs some cosmetic work, oh and the lift lever for the deck. What kind of regular maintenance is required? What should I check for the belt problem? Does anyone have the plastic front for sale reasonable? Any advise or tips or anything would be appreciated! Hope to get this machine so I don"t have to change a belt every time or two I mow.

Let's start out with what model of deck you have. Second, pictures of how the belt is routed through all the pulleys would be most helpful.
