Stupid question, what's the difference between rebuilt and re-manufactured?

I'm assuming re-manufactured will be sleeved back to standard bore and stock specs on the crank. Is that what they mean? I've rebuilt lots of motors big and small but never considered them re-manufactured.

There is no difference. It is RARE that any re-man anything is put back to "original" specifications. They will say "factory tolerances" though. There is not much benefit, and the cost it too great.

Well that makes it an expensive rebuild LOL. Probably for those that don't want to mess with them but wheres the fun in that.
